How fees work

Plain answers on paying for care, before you book.

  • Insurance we work with

We bill many PPO plans. Each plan covers chiropractic visits in its own way, so we check yours before your first visit and tell you what we find.

    • Many PPO plans

    • Some employer plans

    • Ask us about yours

  • If you pay yourself

If you pay yourself, we tell you the fee for each part of your visit before it happens, and you pay at the visit. Ask the front desk for the current fee list.

  • Receipts for reimbursement

After a visit we give you an itemized receipt if you ask. If your plan reimburses care outside its network, you can send the receipt in. The plan decides what it pays.

  • An estimate in advance

If you do not use insurance, you have the right to a Good Faith Estimate. We give you a written estimate in advance, before your first visit, and answer your questions about it.

  • Checking your benefits

Our front desk checks your benefits before your first visit and calls you with what they find, including any copay or deductible. You can also ask your plan how it covers chiropractic visits.

  • What the first visit includes

The first visit takes 45 to 60 minutes. Follow-up visits are shorter.

    • History and exam

    • Your options explained

    • Treatment only if you agree

What a first visit is like

To change or cancel a visit, call us as early as you can. Ask the front desk about the practice's cancellation policy.
